Not all situations are easy, and we fumble in the dark, trying to find a place or a purpose. We don’t always know how things will work out, and sometimes we think we made a wrong turn. Yet for me, Christ has been born in my heart, a light shining in the darkness. God knows my going and coming and is familiar with my ways.

This is what I want, what about you? A beautiful watered garden. It all started with a garden when God spoke, and it will end in a garden, or should I say of that day, it will be the beginning of all beginnings.
We may be left to fill in the blanks because the stories become our stories. We are the ones now to get up and tell the rest of the story. It’s our turn to get up against the odds. We can put aside our excuses, forgive that person who did us wrong, love that unloveable person, or be healed from raging anxiety. We can get up and go, just as Jesus said.
When did we stop trying things? When we are young, we are not afraid of trying new things, yet as we grow older, we settle for what life hands us. When did we stop trying new things? I was thinking this morning of the parable of the talents. If you […]
