This morning I read through Ephesians 4. Take a few minutes to read through the scripture and write down what stands out to you. For me, a few themes stood out to me as I read.
God saves the best for last.
Thoughts and reflections on the Parable of the talents.
What would happen if we just did the work that’s right in front of us and did it with excellence? By God’s grace, that’s my goal.
Are you a weary traveler longing for a home? You long for a place but find none. You’re restless and tired, but your thirst drives you on.
You can be a catalyst to change in the world around us. More than ever, we need peacemakers to step up to bring healing to our communities. Here’s a question to ask yourself; are you building bridges or starting fires by the words you speak? I think this is a critical question to ask.
You have dreams but they live on the other side of the wild country. There are mountains to climb, wild beasts to face and rivers to cross as you trek through the wild country. Don’t let the fear of those things talk you out of going. If you let fear rule your heart you will never make it.
On any given day, you can have good things happen and bad. Things that make you excited and happy, and then at the same time, something could come into your day and really throw you for a loop.
Right now God is with you and his heart for you is that you would experience the fullness of joy. Joy is not for a few lucky people. Joy is not for those who do everything right. It may surprise you but joy is for you today.
