In Due Time

He cares for you and me.

Sometimes difficulties come flooding in, and problems come in like endless waves, one after another. Perhaps you feel a bit worn out.

“In due time.”

I like that. What’s going to happen in due time? He will exalt you.

Maybe you feel like you are at the low in of the table. You are right where Jesus asked you to be. In due time He will say, “come up here.”

You feel guilt because you think you should have done things differently or better. Maybe you walked away from a conversation thinking of what you should have said, but you didn’t.

Jesus invites us to take His yoke upon us. That is an invitation to all who are weary and worn out. Take Him at His word. Embrace that. He loves you and cares for you.

So go ahead and let go of that worry. Go ahead and shed some tears and let your heart be known to God.

In due time the storms will cease, and the waves will calm. In due time you will see God was with you every step of the way.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
