Provision

Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Jesus, Matthew 6:30 NKJV

Jesus came to give us abundant life. He came to save us. He sees us and knows us. He knows our weaknesses. He sees us and the things that worry and plagues us. It is his heart to heal and gives us that abundant life He promised.

In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus draws our attention to the natural world and God’s attention to detail, His care, and provision for all living things.

That day, Jesus spoke to the multitudes, but those words speak to all time, all nations, all people, and even to us today. Jesus asked the multitudes that days, “will he not much more clothes are you a view of little faith?”

Jesus sees us even now and the concerns that seek to consume us. He sees our misdirected desires to consume things constantly. He said the father is going to take care of you. He invites us into the kingdom of God both now and in the future.

Jesus seeks to shift our thinking from consuming things and trying to figure out a living and points our attention to the Kingdom of God. Hesus invites us to change our thinking and know God will care for us.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Jesus, Matthew 6:33 NKJV
