The Restorer Of All Things

“For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace;

The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, snd instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; snd it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:12, 13

Isaiah 55 is a beautiful passage of hope. The chapter starts with a call to everyone who thirsts in which. Jesus takes up this theme when He says, “if anyone thirsts, let him come to Him and drink.”

The chapter ends with God removing the thorns and briers and replacing them with the cypress and myrtle trees. God makes all things new. Through Jesus, God has removed the curse and is and will restore all things.

Oh Lord,

You are the master Gardner; in You, I delight.

May you remove the thorns and bring healing to my lands.

Take our barren land and make it into a fruitful garden.

Oh Lord, to you, I pray.

Jesus is the master Gardner. Come and follow Him with me. He causes the world to come alive with song and beauty.

Praise be to God for His wonderful gift.
