When You Hit a Wall

When You Hit a Wall

You feel you hit a wall, and you think you’re stuck.

I know that feeling, and I have days like that too.

You have ideas but don’t make any progress. If only you could get from point A to B, but how?

You stare at a blank screen like a writer, and the words don’t come. You are stuck.

Days turn into weeks and weeks into years, and you think, “am I getting anywhere?”

The Psalmist said, “My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. ” Psalm 62:5-8

In those times, don’t underestimate prayer. Put your foot down and talk to the Lord.

There will not be one word that falls to the floor. Let your heart be known to the Lord, for he hears you.
