I know there is meaning every day; I don’t always understand what that is, but things are happening behind the scenes. Are you looking for answers to your day?
Lately, I’ve been asking what the essence of the day is. Some days do fill so full and rich, while other days feel off. I suppose even the off day lead somewhere and are part of a bigger picture I don’t see.
Off days are difficult. Don’t we all want to have days we feel focused and accomplished? Unfortunately, that does not always happen.
We can compare life to hiking. When you hike, parts of the trail have breathtaking views while other sections seem like work. I guess to get to the rewarding views, you’ve got to experience the trail’s difficult and tiring sections.
Some days I know I’ll have clarity and purpose, and other days I’ll feel I missed the mark. I’m sure you will experience the same.
From reading the scriptures, I’m convinced He is thinking about me more than I realize. In Psalm 139, I discover He has fashioned my days. He’s the master craftsman shaping us into His work of art.
We aren’t just wandering through life; He is leading. God provides our daily bread, gives us grace for the day and has a purpose for each of us. One day we will see fully; only now we see dimly. We don’t fully understand, but one day we will know.
Keep hiking. The view is just around the bend.
“For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then shall I know, even as also I am known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12
